Will Durant said: "Civilization is a stream with banks. The stream is sometimes filled with blood from people killing, stealing, shouting and doing the things historians usually record; while on the banks, unnoticed, people build homes, make love, raise children, sing songs, write poetry and even whittle statues. The story of civilization is the story of what happened on the banks." And, I shall add, the best way to tell it is through literary journalism!

Sonja, I agree with you. I hope somethnig like that will happen in Slovenia... SOON!
Same here. Cheers! I like the picture. Did you take it yourself? It's beautiful!
@naesia: Yes, I hope that, too.
@xiaoqing: Thanks. I took it myself in Prekmurje region of Slovenia. BTW: can you send me again the link to your blog (but you need to tell me exactly where your posts are; the other day I found other people posts on that link).
It is the link I sent to you before. And it's only me who's posting. :)But don't worry, it's in Chinese so you probably can't read. Your support is in my heart. :)
@xiaoqing: I added your blog to my blogroll. You are right, I can not understand almost anything except for 'homecoming', 'Kansas' and so on. But I can at least see what you are reading. And I liked 'I the walk the line', too. It was one of the very first movies we watched after Jernej had been born.
Sonja, I appreciate! English and Chinese are so different languages that those whose mother toung is Chinese would mostly prefer it to English in writing. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your understanding. :)
